Extended Lower Ball Joint Set [Bauer] – 1989-2005 Mazda Miata $79.99/ea or $149.99/set
Application: Mazda Miata 89-05 (NA/NB)
Description:
Bauer Production:
Are you looking for more front camber, but are frustrated with slipping bushings or hampered by minimal spring clearance? Here’s your solution.
This extended lower ball joint bolts in place of the factory unit, but adds over 2° of negative camber by pushing the bottom of the tire outboard. You’ll gain clearance instead of losing it, and there’s no chance they’ll slip. Perfect for autocrossers or anyone looking to get as much negative camber as possible. If you want, you can even swap back and forth between these and stock units to change from street to track alignment without touching your alignment cams. At stock ride height, you’ll be able to run approximately between -.5° and -3.5° of camber.
With a forged body, they’re stronger and better than the OEM parts.
Legal for SCCA STR. Legal for NASA Spec Miata. +2 points for NASA TT/PT.Forged body, stronger than cast OEM part
This is a genuine Mazda part. As these cars get old, some of these places will leak. This notorious O-Ring leaks directly onto your heater core hoses. Your hoses will turn into playdoh and rupture prematurely. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THIS! You can check by just using your finger on the bottom side of the CAS when the engine is cool. Remember to mark the CAS position prior to doing the gasket replacement so that you don’t need to re-time your car. We have had good luck just using a sharpie or paint pen and marking a line

This is produced by EXEDY which is the same as DAIKIN CLUTCH. Mazda shipped out these Mazda Miata’s with DAIKIN CLUTCH parts so you’re essentially purchasing the original part, but without the Mazda markup on the same part. When you the loss of clutch pressure, or perhaps issues with your clutch pedal, sometimes a faulty cylinder is the culprit. We recommend changing both at same time. You might want to upgrade your clutch line to our TSS line for ease of bleed and less prone to leaking solution

These are the two hoses that go through your firewall and supply your heatercore with coolant. If you have a 1989-1997 Miata and have a leaky CAS(Cam Angle Sensor) O-Ring, it will drip onto this hose and cause a premature rupture.
These hoses are often overlooked by most people. These hoses are the SAME AGE as your radiator hoses. These run the SAME COOLANT through them. If your radiator and or hoses are new and these aren’t, you might have to take care of them.
We see a lot of cars fail due to these hoses letting go.
EVERY YEAR CAR is different! 1990-1993 is one set of hoses, 1994-1997 is one set of hoses,
1999-2000 is one set of hoses, 2001-2005 is one set of hoses.
*these hose kits will not work with a MSM/Turbo model.
DON’T CHEAP OUT ON AN AFTERMARKET! Aftermarket gaskets usually leak and make a mess. Do it once, and do it right! This gasket lasts many years, so just get the correct one from the beginning.
We have tried many and have gone back to ONLY using a Genuine Mazda Gasket for this.
Other items like belts and waterpumps are fine to use Gates. This isn’t one of those items.

(4 hoses that route coolant from throttle body, oil cooler, back and front of head)

We see a lot of cars fail due to these hoses letting go. These small hoses route coolant from the back of the head to the oil cooler(if you have one), then from there to the throttle body, from there it goes to the thermostat housing and then from there to the side by the water pump.
EVERY YEAR CAR is different! 1990-1993 is one set of hoses, 1994-1997 is one set of hoses, 1999-2000 is one set of hoses, 2001-2005 is one set of hoses. If you have done a motor swap into your car, please verify before ordering.

This is a genuine Mazda part. This is the culprit to many squeaky gauge clusters or wiggly speed readings. This cable spins as the transmission spins. With a new cable, your speed will read SUPER smooth. A lot of people have loud sounding clusters during extreme heat or cold conditions. This is because the cable is dying or about to tear in two.
Installation is super easy, plenty of write ups out there for this quick 30 min job.
This is a genuine Mazda part. A lot of people forget to change this crucial component of their cooling system. There are many write-ups about this being the best choice for genuine thermostats out of all years.
We also include a easy to use adhesive backed gasket with the purchase of the thermostat.
